Consecrate the first stirrings of the day to God

Domine, labia mea aperies,
et os meum annuntiabit laudem tuam.
“O Lord, thou wilt open my lips: and my mouth shall declare thy praise.”
Psalm 51(50):17 · Douay-Rheims

The Lord hath reigned, he is clothed with beauty: the Lord is clothed with strength, and hath girded himself. For he hath established the world which shall not be moved. My throne is prepared from of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord: the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods have lifted up their waves, With the noise of many waters. Wonderful are the surges of the sea: wonderful is the Lord on high. Thy testimonies are become exceedingly credible: holiness becometh thy house, O Lord, unto length of days. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
Psalm 93(92):1-5 · Douay-Rheims · Sunday at Lauds in the Roman Breviary
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen. Lord God, I offer you this day — all my prayers, works, joys, and sufferings. Grant me the grace to serve you faithfully in all things. Amen.
O God, my God, to thee do I watch at break of day. For thee my soul hath thirsted; for thee my flesh, O how many ways! In a desert land, and where there is no way, and no water: so in the sanctuary have I come before thee, to see thy power and thy glory. For thy mercy is better than lives: thee my lips will praise. Thus will I bless thee all my life long: and in thy name I will lift up my hands.
Blessed be the Lord God of Israel: because he hath visited and wrought the redemption of his people. And hath raised up an horn of salvation to us, in the house of David his servant. To enlighten them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death: to direct our feet into the way of peace.
Lord, as we begin this day, we bring before you the intentions of our hearts. We pray for our families and friends. We pray for those who are sick and suffering. We pray for peace in the world and in our own hearts. Lord, hear our prayer. Amen.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen. May almighty God bless us — the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
